An iconic Petaluma tradition, the Butter & Egg Days Parade & Festival celebrates its rich agricultural history and the spirit of community. Now in its 41st year, this year’s parade theme is Greener Pastures – Sustaining Petaluma’s Future. Spread over four city blocks, Butter & Egg Days offer a feast for the entire family. Come experience colorful floats, marching bands, elaborate chicken costumes, arts, crafts, and two large “kid-focused” zones. Popular features include a “Cutest Chick” contest as well as a “Cow Chip Throwing” contest. Opening Ceremonies are on Saturday, April 13th.
