Mystic Theatre
The Mystic Theatre, originally home to vaudeville entertainment, was built in 1911. It hosts live music events for up to 500 people. The venue has a full bar and access to McNear’s Saloon & Dining House.

The Phoenix Theater
The Phoenix Theater, also known as the Petaluma Phoenix Center, hosts music events and many community programs in its 1904 building, which was originally the Hill Opera House. It has been a full-time live music venue since the 1980s. Read the write-up about its birthday in this Bohemian article.

The Big Easy
An underground nightclub and restaurant that serves up music nearly every night spanning all genres. All ages welcome. In addition to its ticketed shows, the Big Easy has a Songwriters Open Mic on First Mondays and a Big Band rolls in every Wednesday. Both are free. Table reservations recommended, especially for ticketed shows. Dancing shoes encouraged!

Wonderstump
Wonderstump, a recent addition to the maker community in the NoBo (Petaluma Blvd North) district, is an immersive experience that tantalizes all the senses with a variety of interactive art installments and performances, which sometimes include music.

Art & Music Gallery blends music and art in an intimate setting with casual seating and community vibes. It’s run by a nonprofit and a portion of its proceeds benefit local essential community services.
