Join us each year on the 3rd Saturday of May as Cruisin’ The Boulevard honors George Lucas’ timeless, coming-of-age film, American Graffiti, most of which was filmed here in Petaluma in the early summer of 1972. Grab your favorite squeeze, jump into your hot rod, or candy-colored screamin’ machine, and cruise on back to the “happy days” of the ‘50s and ‘60s.

🎲 🎸 Put on your poodle skirts, peggers, jeans, white sox and loafers, and come kick up your heels to live rock ‘n roll bands! Grab a root beer float, see if you can still hula hoop and check out all of the cool American cars and trucks cruising the same streets where the movie was filmed over 50 years ago!

The 23rd Annual Art & Garden Festival is a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of creativity, community, and local flavor. Each year, over 15,000 people fill the historic downtown to enjoy a lively day of art, music, food, and fun.

🗓️ Petaluma Art & Garden Festival Sunday, July 12, 2026, 11 am - 5 pm

🎶 🌱 🛍️ Explore more than 100 handpicked art exhibitors offering unique, high-quality, handmade goods - from garden and home décor to artisan jewelry and fine art. Live music will fill the air from two stages, while local wineries, breweries, distilleries, and restaurants serve up delicious tastes of Sonoma County and beyond. Gardening experts will be available to share tips on growing in our tricky adobe soil and making your garden truly organic. A Children’s Corner features jump houses, face painting, and free hands-on arts and crafts.

🗺️ 📍 The festival takes place on Kentucky Street, Fourth Street, B Street, and the A Street parking lot. Festival Headquarters will be located at the Petaluma Historical Library & Museum Garden Court, 20 Fourth Street.
