Birding at Shollenberger Park

Docent-Led Walks from Oct. through June • (707) 486-9030

Free nature and bird walks are offered on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month; at the Petaluma Public Wetlands.  Visit Petaluma Wetlands for additional details.

  • Second Saturday, 9-11am: Docent-led walk at Shollenberger Park.  Meet inside the gate near the picnic tables.  Contact Al Hesla, (707) 486-9030
  • Fourth Saturday, 9-11am: Docent-led bird walk at the Ellis Creek Water Recycling Facility ponds.  Meet in the parking lot on the left, immediately inside the entrance gates at the end of Cypress Drive. Contact Andy LaCasse (707) 763-5167.
