Art & Garden Festival

Every July, the Art & Garden Festival takes over downtown to celebrate art, garden, and music. Festival lovers from all over Sonoma County and beyond explore the blocks of booths with artisan crafts, fine art, and cool art and plants to dress up your yard, then kick it on the dance floor, taste some Petaluma-made adult beverages, or take their kids to explore the kids area.

Gardening experts are on hand to provide tips that might include growing vegetables in adobe soil, growing organic, trimming roses, and how to create a bee sanctuary in your yard.

Art lovers slow their roll for a day in the sun, feasting on the beautiful art and chatting with the artists. Art includes everything from fine jewelry and leather handbags to wind chimes and framed art. With the wide variety of artists and makers, you’re sure to find that special something for your home or garden while enjoying the tastes and sounds of Petaluma.

Music is a big part of the experience throughout the day, with acoustic artists in the middle of the creative energy along the festival and larger, dance bands on the main stage.

This festival is so Petaluma. It reflects the deep connection that Petalumans have to the land, Petaluma’s Maker culture, and its wealth of musical talent.

Gallery from Past Art & Garden Festivals

There’s no way to captures all that Art & Garden is with a few photos. But here’s a tease. All photos, except the band with brass instruments (Spike Sikes & His Awesome Hotcakes) were taken by Jim Johnson.
