The series continues with its signature blend of highly-acclaimed classics, Oscar favorites, and award-winning international films. The season also features a number of special guests presenting films in advance of their theatrical release. On Feb 19, writer/director Kyle Hausmann-Stokes will present a sneak preview of the upcoming comedy-drama My Dead Friend Zoe, winner of the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at the 2024 SXSW Film Festival. On April 9, directors Bryce Leavitt and Marah Strauch will present their crowd-pleasing, adrenaline-fueled documentary Space Cowboy on daredevil skydiving stuntman Joe Jennings. On April 30, prolific documentarian Alexandre Philippe will present his newest project, Chain Reactions, an examination of the profound influence The Texas Chainsaw Massacre has had over the past 50 years of cinema. His film won the Golden Lion at the 2024 Venice International Film Festival. Philippe will join us for an additional night on April 23 to present a stop/start deconstruction of Hitchcock’s Vertigo, featuring clips from his soon-to-released film on actress Kim Novak.

Most films screen Wednesday nights at 7pm* in the Carole L. Ellis Auditorium on the SRJC Petaluma Campus (*exceptions marked below). Guests are invited to attend an optional pre-show program at 6pm.  Check website for pricing, directions, and additional information.
