Join NorCal Public Media and the Petaluma Library for a special free screening featuring a brand-new Ken Burns–produced documentary: Henry David Thoreau. This special event explores powerful and deeply connected themes drawn from the life and philosophy of Thoreau: nonviolent resistance, environmental stewardship, and civic responsibility.
Following the screening, stay for a panel discussion that brings Thoreau’s ideas into today’s world with journalist and activist Greg King – who is featured on NorCal’s Emmy Award–winning series Climate California – plus Annie Creswell, Executive Director of Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods, and Gail Seymour, scientist and environmental justice advocate.
