This welcoming watercolor class is designed for all levels. Guided by Nancy Ballard, you’ll ease into the medium with simple, approachable techniques that take the fear out of painting. Through relaxed exercises and encouraging instruction, you’ll learn how watercolor really works—without pressure or perfection—while building confidence step by step. Emphasizing play, curiosity, and small wins, this class creates a supportive space to explore color, brushwork, and flow.

Please bring your watercolors.  Paper, plus a mat, backing, and sleeve are provided so your piece will be ready for framing.

About the Teacher: Nancy Ballard’s love of art began in childhood, when she first discovered the magic of brush and paint—a sense of wonder that continues to shape her work today. After a full life as a mother, grandmother, and corporate professional, she returned to art following her retirement in 2006, studying watercolor with Mary L. Ha.
