A beginning SUP lesson with a pro! Floathouse instructor Shirley Heinemann is an American Canoe Association Level 3 Coastal SUP instructor with decades of paddling experience and more than five years of teaching experience. Limit six students. Class will cover the following:
A review of SUP equipment and sizing, different paddling strokes and safety orientation. Transitioning from dock to board safely and proper posture. Implementing different paddle strokes and board handling tips. Practice time and next steps. You’ll enjoy our extremely stable 11’ TAO Fit SUPs .
