Hosted by The Floathouse Petaluma, this guided evening experience invites visitors to glide from the heart of downtown into a quieter, more atmospheric stretch of river as moonlight shimmers across the tidal waterway. Guests are seated in comfortable, stay-dry Hobie pedal kayaks and led by an experienced local guide who shares insights into the river’s history, landscape, and wildlife.
The journey pauses at the best viewing vantage point to take in the Snow Moon reflecting on the water—an unforgettable way to connect with nature, community, and Petaluma’s rich waterfront heritage. The experience concludes in time to enjoy dinner downtown, with paddle guests receiving a special discount at TAPS on the River, where the moon continues to rise over the river.
