Tamsen’s actual diaries have never been recovered, but Leslie recreates her story from information that others in the party left behind. Come learn about this bright and extraordinary woman, and get an expanded perspective on these infamous early pioneers.
Leslie Scatchard has been performing most of her life, from plays, musicals, and solo shows to readers theater and storytelling. She ran two children’s theater programs, one in the Sierra Foothills and one in Petaluma, and is now working on pet projects as they fit into her retirement life.
