Come and gather for a night of and celebration, education and reclamation. Proceeds will go towards SisterSong and Planned Parenthood. SisterSong is a Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective dedicated to improving institutional policies and systems that impact the reproductive lives of marginalized communities.
Spoken and performed by women in our community, join us for a night of laughter and compassion, with honesty and bravery, humanity and liberation as we perform an adaptation of the original Vagina Monologues created by Eve Ensler. Following interviews she conducted with 200 women about their views on sex, relationships, and violence against women, Ensler states that “Women’s empowerment is deeply connected to their sexuality” and gives voice to a chorus of lusty, outrageous, poignant, and thoroughly human stories, transforming the question mark hovering over the anatomy into a permanent victory sign.
