An Annual Spooky Party on The Petaluma River!
Celebrate spooky season the Petaluma way—on the river! Witches & Wizards on the Water returns, transforming the downtown Turning Basin into a floating Halloween party for all ages.
Come in costume and paddle the Trick-or-Treat Trail, collect treats from waterfront stops, and join the on-the-water costume contest from 12–1 pm, with prizes for creative kids, groups, nautical costumes and plenty of wonderfully Petaluman weirdness.
The event is completely FREE if you bring your own kayak, paddleboard, canoe or other human-powered craft. Need a ride? The Floathouse offers an affordable fleet of kayaks, paddleboards, pedal kayaks, water bikes and more. Rental availability is limited for this popular event, so we strongly recommend reserving your Floathouse craft as soon as possible.
