Led by dramaturge Leslie Scatchard, this guided kayak tour brings the river’s history to life in vivid, unexpected ways.

As you glide along calm waters, you won’t just hear about history—you’ll meet it. Costumed characters from Petaluma’s past appear along the shoreline, sharing stories of the people, industries, and defining moments that shaped this river town.

More than a history tour, it’s live theater on the water. The paddle is relaxed and approachable, using stable sit-on-top kayaks at an easy pace.
