Petaluma Conversations is a seasonal community event that brings people together for respectful, face-to-face dialogue on a wide range of topics—from politics to art to social issues. Born out of a local controversy over public art, it was created to move conversations offline and foster mutual understanding across differences. Hosted by Aqus Community, the gatherings follow a structured format that emphasizes listening over debating, helping participants build trust and connection in a divided world. The goal is simple: to strengthen community by creating space for people to be heard and to hear others.
