Full Sturgeon Moon Paddle – Friday Night on the River: Spend your Friday night the Petaluma way—on the water, under the moon, and in great company. Join The Floathouse Petaluma for a guided Full Sturgeon Moon Paddle on the Petaluma River, known locally as Petaluma’s Longest Park.

This late-summer full moon is named for the ancient sturgeon that once sustained Native communities and signaled a seasonal shift. We’ll launch just before sunset, glide through the calm tidal slough as evening settles in, and watch the moon rise from the best seat in town—the water.
