Come meet local candidates on the November ballot. AAUW Petaluma is hosting two Candidate Forums. The 6pm Forum includes candidates for Petaluma City School Board Areas 3 and 5. At 7pm the ten candidates for Petaluma City Council – Mayor and Districts 1, 2, and 3 – will convene. Candidates will answer questions posed by a moderator from AAUW to explain positions on Petaluma city and school issues. The school board forum will be co-moderated by a student leader from Casa Grande High School.
The League of Women Voters and Petaluma Area Chamber of Commerce are co-sponsoring the Forums which will be posted to the LWV YouTube Channel. We encourage all Petaluma residents to attend to learn about the issues and to make informed choices when voting. Petaluma elections are by District, but decisions made by the City Council and PCS School Board impact everyone who lives in Petaluma.
