Join us for Sunday Swing Night at Hall of the Above featuring a new-to-HOTA band, Steve Lucky & The Rhumba Bums, playing jump blues, swing, jazz and rare gems inspired by the ’30s, ’40s and ’50s.
Called “Instant Crowd Favorites” by the San Francisco Blues Festival and “Consummate musicians and entertainers” by New York City’s Lincoln Center, Lucky and Getit really shine before a live audience, bringing an intense energy and sheer personal magnetism to the stage, exercising wit in a continuous battle of the sexes.
Jasmine Worrell, the Bay Area’s top swing dance instructor, will offer a class from 4:15 – 5pm. Followed by live music and an open dance floor until 7:00 PM
Kids 12 and under are free. All skill levels welcome; no partner required.
