Believe it or not, the Full Pink Moon rises on April 1—and The Floathouse Petaluma is marking the occasion with a spring evening experience that’s anything but a prank.
This guided Pink Moon Paddle (Pedal)launches right from downtown Petaluma, steps from local restaurants, shops, and gathering spots along the river. It’s the perfect way to cap off a perfect downtown day—dinner, dessert, then moonrise on the water.
We’ll glide out together in comfortable Hobie pedal kayaks on calm evening tides as dusk settles and the moon lifts over “Petaluma’s Longest Park,” the Petaluma River. The pace is gentle and beginner-friendly, designed for slowing down, soaking in spring energy, and sharing a memorable moment in this natural paradise.
All equipment is provided, including pedal kayaks, PFDs, and a knowledgeable local guide. No experience needed—just show up and let the river do the rest. Make an evening of it downtown, then float into the night under the Pink Moon!
