So adorably ugly that they’re beautiful! Come show some love for the homely hounds that will be competing to be crowned the World’s Ugliest Dog at the Sonoma-Marin Fair from June 22-26.

For nearly 30 years, The World’s Ugliest Dog Contest has been a testament that all dogs regardless of breed or size can fill our lives with unconditional love. The contest, which has been featured on people.com,  speaks to the importance of advocating for all animals and the benefits of adopting. Many of the contestants that have been rescued from shelters and puppy mills have found love and the limelight. Despite crossed eyes, missing fur, duck waddles or mismatched ears, each of the animals struts proudly with their owner and bask in the adoration of the fans.
