A 165-acre wetlands and wildlife sanctuary less than a mile from the marina, offering the following free tours October through June weather permitting:

  • Second Saturday of the month, 9am-11am. Docent-led bird walk. Meet at the first kiosk.
  • Third Saturday of the month, 10:00 a.m. Docent-led children/family nature walks in English and Spanish. 1 to 2 hours, dependent on age of children. Meet at the first kiosk.
  • Fourth Saturday of the month, 9am-11am. Docent-led bird/nature walk at the Ellis Creek Water Recycling Facility ponds.  Meet inside the entrance gates at the end of Cypress Drive.
