Maps to Help You Find Your Way Around Petaluma

Historic Downtown Petaluma

Antique and boutique shops, a myriad of dining options, entertainment, and the Petaluma River are all within walking distance in our historic downtown district. Park your car free all day at one of our downtown parking garages or park on the street for free for two hours.

Bay Area

Petaluma is centrally located, making it a perfect place to play, stay and take day trips to other Bay Area destinations.   It's only a 37 mile drive on Highway 101 to San Francisco, 27 miles to Bodega Bay and around 25 miles to Tomales Bay.   Even better, Petaluma is the southern Gateway to Sonoma Wine Country, so it's only a hop and skip to an unforgettable Wine Country experience!

Petaluma Area

Once you arrive in Petaluma, it's easy to find your way around town. Petaluma is about 10 miles in diameter and Petaluma Boulevard separates the west side from the east side. East Washington Street, Lakeville Highway, and Petaluma Boulevard are the main thoroughfares leading to the on-ramps for the 101 Freeway.
