Back by popular demand, join olive farming expert, Samantha Dorsey, for a full-day workshop at McEvoy Ranch that will outline some of the special considerations for pruning productive, fruit-bearing olive trees and help you to finesse pruning techniques.
There will be an indoor pruning lecture and discussion covering topics including timing, proper use of tools, different techniques for different applications, young trees versus older trees and maximizing fruit production. After lunch provided by The Ranch Chef, Mark Rohrmeier at the McEvoy Pagoda, there will be an outdoor demonstration and practice in the field. Following the workshop, there will be time to visit the Ranch Shop and Tasting Room to enjoy a 3-wine flight, olive oil and nibbles.
