There’s music and entertainment happening throughout Petaluma whether your taste is all-American musical theater or indie rock ‘n roll. What you won’t find here are concrete and steel structures that seat thousands; Petaluma boasts many unique entertainment venues that reflect our history.
The Mystic Theatre was built in 1911 for vaudeville shows and now hosts musicians that run the gamut from blue grass to jazz to heavy metal. Cinnabar Theater, housed in a 1908 schoolhouse, has been a local treasure for more than 40 years. This intimate theater regularly presents live opera, drama and cabaret. Local favorite Aqus Cafe serves up great food and music almost every day of the week. In the mood for a movie? Art deco-inspired Boulevard Cinemas is within walking distance of historic Downtown.
