Arts Center
Located at 230 Lakeville St. next to the Petaluma Visitor Center, the Petaluma Arts Center is home to the Petaluma Arts Council and offers art exhibitions, lectures, classes and events throughout the year, including exhibits by renown local and regional artists, the annual "Day of the Dead" celebration and the ArtsLive! performance series. Arts Center classes run in spring and fall, with a special 5-week children's summer art program.

Petaluma's Art and Garden Festival in July offers an afternoon of fine wines and delicious delicacies, good music and art.
During September the annual Art in the Park outdoor art show and sale celebrates 50-plus years and features a diversity of media from painting to photography in a picturesque setting at Walnut Park on Petaluma Boulevard South and D Street.
Area artists open their studios and display new works during the Sonoma Countywide ARTrails Open Studio Tours set for two weekends in October.
